Wow, It has been AWHILE!

Sorry about the delay in posting on our blog. I don't spend as much time as I used to on the Internet and little things get forgotten about. Eleyna is doing extremely well! She is now 16 months and full of curiosity. She loves getting into stuff and loves to watch you do something new! She has found a great interest in books lately and loves to "read" to you and be read to. Her vocabulary is expanding by the minute and can now say please, thank you, hi, up, down, bye, book, baby, eat, no, daddy, mama, gigi (gma), papa, and many others. She has begun to create small sentences and her favorite is "ew daddy" when he burps! LOL she also can say I Love You (but only when she feels like it.) She loves to dance and sing along to the radio. She is not much into TV (which I love), but loves to watch her GiggleBellie dvd and SuperWhy. It is hard to believe that our little girl is growing up so fast. Pictures to come later, as I am at work and did not remember to bring the camera to upload them. Love you all and wish all the fathers out there a great Father's Day!!!!!

Christmas 2010

Christmas in Georgia this year was a great one! We just moved into our own place and my mom and dad were able to come and spend Eleyna's first Christmas with us. She didn't quite know how to act when it cam to opening presents, but was excited to play with the toys once mommy got them unwrapped. We also were lucky enough to have Georgia's first white christmas in over 100 years. Eleyna was curious about the snow and got very excited until the snowflakes hit her eyes.
She is a busy little girl these days. Ahe is now able to crawl quite quickly and can walk around any object with ease. It will not be long until she is able to walk on her own. She is finally cutting her second tooth (which we thought would never come). She loves to wave, clap her hands, and blow kisses. Eleyna can say Ma-ma, Da-da, no-no, ba-ba, and bye (all on her own terms though). It is still hard to believe that my little girl is almost one! Time definitely flies when it comes to children! My Big Girl!

Eleyna is now almost 10 months old and full of energy. She has mastered crawling and pulling up, as well as walkilng around things and moving from one object to another without falling. She has finally sprouted one lonesome tooth (yet she chews like she has a whole mouth full, lol), She loves clapping her hands, and waving hello. It is so hard to believe that my little peanut has grown so much. Hope everyone enjoys the update and the pictures, I will do my best to keep up with the postings!
